Mountain resorts

The most important among the Valle di Tures mountain resorts is Campo Tures, which counts 4700 inhabitants; San Giovanni in Valle Aurina is the cultural center of the Valli di Tures Aurina according to the presence of many museums and two very characteristic churches. Other mountain resorts in Valle Aurina are: Predoi, famous for its climatic center, its old mines converted into a museum and many kinds of trekking and hiking trips in winter and in summer.
